    Winter Spirit Week is next week February 21 to February 24th you voted and here are the results Tuesday-PJ Day, Wednesday-Decades Day, Thursday-Flannel Day, Friday-Class Color Day and Winter Pep Fest.  Keep up the awesome work with the bid out collections!

     

    From the athletic office sign-up for Spring sports now in the athletic office.  Be ahead of the game remember all forms and fees must be in prior to 1st day of practice.

     

    Spring Baseball meeting/sign-up on Wednesday, February 22nd and Thursday, February 23rd.  For all grade levels 2:30 in the field house lobby.  All freshman that are interested must attend.

     

    There will be an information/sign-up meeting for all boys’ interested in Spring golf.  Meet with Coach Podas on Thursday, February 23rd 2:15 in field house lobby.

     

    Highland’s Math Team qualified for the state tournament yesterday for the 22nd year in a row by beating 8 other teams.  Going to state for the Scots on March 13th will be seniors Geeta Rajamani, John Kelly, Tessa Newman-Heggie, Daniel Bielinski, junior Roland Berg, Will Mulvaney, Blessie Mande, and sophomores Michael West-Hest and Andrew Noecker.

     

    Anyone interested in the Highland Park Clay Target League.  There will be a meeting on Wednesday, February 22nd 2:30 in the field house.

    Congratulations to the Nordic Ski Teams.  The Boy’s finished 3rd at the State Championship.  The girls’ finished 9th.  Highland had 3 top ten finishers Erin Moening (3rd), Harry Pretel (6th) and Gabe Pfeiffer (10th).

    Bid out will go until February 22nd. All money raised will be going to the  Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.  The top 10 classes who raise the most money will get to attend a performance of Comedy Sportz on February 24th.

    The premier of the Highland Park film club's music video, FADE, will be today at 2:00 in Ms. Becker's room, 2214. All are welcome. Popcorn will be provided. 

    Please submit your short stories, poems, photography and drawings to prizm, Highland Park's Art and Literary magazine.  You can submit through the prizm mailbox in your English class or via e-mail to highlandparkprizm@gmail.com.

    Attention 10th graders -  The Personal Project is due this Friday, February 17th.  Please turn your paper in to your advisor by the end of the day. 

    Congratulations to Tessa Newman-Heggie, Claire Davis and Delon Smith for being selected to the Minnesota Music Educator's All State Orchestra.  This is a huge honor for them and Highland!

    Highland's Math Team qualified for the state tournament yesterday for the 22nd year in a row by besting 8 other teams.  Going to state for the Scots on March 13th will be seniors Geeta Rajamani, John Kelly, Tessa Newman-Heggie and Daniel Bielinski; juniors Roland Berg, Will Mulvaney, Blessie Mande and sophomores Michael West-Hest and Andrew Noecker.

    Attention Sophomores:  There will be a College Possible information session on Wednesday after school in room 2314.  Come talk to the College Possible coaches during lunch or in the CCRC for more information. 

    The premier of the Highland Park film club's music video, FADE, will be this Thursday at 2:00 in Ms. Becker's room, 2214. All are welcome. Popcorn will be provided.

    Softball will meet February 22nd at 2:10 in room 1213.

    Want to learn how to save for your future while having some pizza?  HIWAY Federal Credit Union will be holding a lunch and learn on Wednesday February 15th in the CCRC during 1st and 2nd lunch.  Come meet our student tellers and learn more.  Thanks!
