Libby Arnosti, MLL Teacher
I grew up in the Saint Paul Public Schools and graduated from Central High School. I have been working in education for 10 years, starting as a bilingual teaching aide in a middle school. From the first time I set foot in a classroom as an educator, I knew that I wanted to spend my career working with young people. Since then, I have taught students of every age from Kindergarten through adults. I value creating a supportive classroom community where students feel genuinely known and cared about, and I love helping young people discover how their life experiences and past learning can help them learn new things and gain confidence. I am excited to be at Gordon Parks getting to know our students in a small learning environment where I can get to know them and help them stay engaged with their goals. Outside of school, one of my true loves is music, and I play the accordion in a band. My 8-month-old son, my husband, and I also spend a lot of time with my family, who also all live in Saint Paul. I love to swim, sail, canoe, and generally be around water and outdoors as much as possible!
